Scott McFarland received his bachelor's degree at the University of Iowa, where he majored in integrative physiology. He then received his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at Rush University in Chicago. While there, he completed an additional year of training in an advanced specialty rotation in orthopaedic surgery. After training, Scott moved to California with his wife and worked with an orthopaedic practice for 5 years with a focus in sports medicine. He eventually made the move back to the Midwest and currently works with Dr. Tuvi Mendel and his team in both the clinical and surgical settings.
In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys any opportunity to root on the Hawkeyes.
